Khaberni - The weather specialists in Arab Weather stated that, God willing, the Kingdom will be affected from late Monday afternoon, 12/15/2025, by a new low pressure classified as second grade, followed by the flow of a very cold air mass with significantly dropping temperatures, which will descend below 5 degrees Celsius in several areas of the Kingdom by the end of the week, God willing.
Low-pressure details
It is expected, God willing, that temperatures will drop during the day on Monday, creating generally cold weather that tends to be stable for most of the day with clouds appearing at different altitudes, and the winds will be light to moderate southwesterly.
And during the evening and night of Monday/Tuesday, the Kingdom will gradually be affected by a second-grade low-pressure system, as cloud quantities increase and the weather becomes variable between partly cloudy and cloudy. Conditions also gradually become conducive for rainfall in several areas of the Kingdom, which may be heavy at times especially in the southern regions possibly accompanied by thunder leading to the running of valleys and streams and the formation of water pools in some areas, with low clouds touching the ground which leads to fog formation and reduced horizontal visibility over high mountainous elevations.

With the daylight hours on Tuesday 12/16/2025, a further drop in temperatures is expected, making the maximum around 10 degrees Celsius in the mountains including the capital Amman, and noticeably colder than it is supposed to be by several degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to be cold and partly to mostly cloudy, with rain showers, God willing, in several areas of the Kingdom, and some of these showers may be heavy at times, with continued fog formation over the mountainous elevations due to the crossing of low clouds that touch the ground surface, and the winds will be moderate northwesterly with active gusts enhancing the feeling of coldness significantly.
And during the night of Tuesday/Wednesday, cloud quantities will decrease in the atmosphere while still allowing for the possibility of rain showers, especially over the south and east of the Kingdom.
Wednesday... very cold winds
Computer simulation results indicate an increase in the impact on the Kingdom by the flow of very cold air on Wednesday 12/17/2025, creating notably cold weather during the day and extremely cold at night with continued humidity in the atmosphere. The weather will be cold and partly cloudy, with chances of some rain showers especially in the south and east of the Kingdom, and these showers might take the form of sleet or light snow flurries over the peaks of the Sharah Mountains, and hail showers are also not excluded in some other areas.
