Khaberni - Confirmed Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Al-Qudah, that the government will never overlook the investigation results related to suffocation incidents that recently occurred leading to deaths.
And said Al-Qudah, during the Energy Committee meeting, on Sunday, the government immediately took necessary actions, and commenced forming a commission to investigate the causes of the suffocation incidents and to clearly determine the cause of the incidents.
He explained that the ministry has banned three local factories from selling heaters found to cause suffocation incidents, leading to deaths, pointing to a halt of factories producing the same type of heaters responsible for the fatalities, as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.
He indicated that the report from the Royal Scientific Society related to heater incidents will be completed either today or tomorrow at the latest, confirming that once the report is concluded, the heaters case will be transferred to the public prosecution to take the necessary legal measures against violations.
He mentioned that there have been no complaints in recent years regarding the type of heaters causing the deaths, noting that the ongoing investigations will accurately determine the causes of the recent incidents.
