Alwaleed bin Talal Acquires 100 of Al Hilal

Khaberni - Khaberni - Saudi media revealed about a historic deal looming in the horizon of local football, in a significant investment shift.

The program "Through Our League" pointed out that circulating data hints at the complete acquisition of Al Hilal club by Kingdom Holding Company, a company owned by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, taking 100% ownership in a move described as one of the most prominent investment transitions in the history of the club.

According to what has been circulated, the official announcement of the completion of the acquisition process is expected to be made within the next two weeks, after completing the relevant legal and regulatory procedures, paving the way for a new phase in Al Hilal's journey on both the administrative and investment fronts.

Media figure Abdulrahman Abaoud confirmed that the ownership of Al Hilal will entirely revert to Kingdom Holding Company, noting that the deal is in its final stages and that the official announcement is merely a matter of time, aligning with the parties involved agreeing on the details of the transfer.

This transition represents a major strategic step, reflecting the escalating role of private investments in the sports sector, and specifically in major clubs, aligning with modern directions for developing Saudi football and enhancing its financial and administrative sustainability.

The change is expected to reflect on the future of Al Hilal, both in terms of administrative governance and investment capabilities, under the long-standing experience of Kingdom Holding Company in managing major investments locally and globally, potentially granting the club broader prospects for competition and growth in the coming years.
