Eid Mustafa Wehbe, a partner in the company producing Shumoosa heaters, said this evening, Saturday, that their product of the Shumoosa heater is of (respectable) quality, and that they will sue anyone who disparages the name (Shumoosa).
The use of Shumoosa heaters resulted in the death of 10 people in Jordan from suffocation within 24 hours, according to a statement from the Public Security.
Wehbe continued in a statement to "Khaberni", that the heater is equipped with sensors and a safety system, adding that the Shumoosa name has no relation to the death cases happening in Jordan due to a heater, and it is available in all provinces of Jordan.
He advised that customers should buy Shumoosa from a trusted source, adding that they do not sell a poor-quality product, and they do not know who made the counterfeit heaters, and that the sale of the heater has been stopped until the truth emerges.
Wehbe emphasized that the Shumoosa heater is a (respectable) product, compliant with specifications, denouncing the use of the Shumoosa name in what is being circulated as a cause of the deaths, and rejecting placing the Shumoosa name under suspicion.
