The crisis is over Salah summoned to the Liverpool squad

Khaberni - Mohamed Salah has been called up again to the Liverpool squad for their Saturday match against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League at Anfield, according to "The Athletic".

The inclusion of the Egyptian striker comes after positive discussions between the player and coach Arne Slot, according to the famous American site.

Doubts about Salah's future at Anfield were raised following his explosive remarks after last weekend's match against Leeds United, and his subsequent exclusion from the lineup for the midweek Champions League match away at Inter.

Slot made the decision, and Salah will leave to join the Egyptian national team for the African Nations Cup after Saturday's match. Liverpool sees this separation period as crucial for the parties involved to further address the current situation.

Speaking at his press conference earlier on Friday, Slot said: I will have a conversation with Salah, and the outcome of that conversation will determine how things look tomorrow. What I need is to talk to him, and the next time I talk about him it must be with him and not here. You can keep trying but there's not much more to say. We've talked a lot last week. There were a lot of discussions between his representatives and ours, between our representatives and him, between me and him, and today I will talk to him again.

Slot refused to delve into whether Salah would need to apologize for his explosive remarks if he was to return to the lineup against Brighton.

When asked if he wanted the Egyptian striker to stay at Liverpool, Slot said: I have no reasons not to want him to stay.

In response to being left out of the team for the third consecutive game, Salah claimed he was "left alone" by Liverpool and said his relationship with Slot had collapsed. He also left the door open for a possible transfer in January, saying he plans to bid farewell to the fans on Saturday before joining the Egyptian national team for the African Nations Cup.

Liverpool's sporting director, Richard Hughes, was heavily involved in the decision to exclude Salah from the Milan trip, but Slot insisted that the decision to include him in the lineup against Brighton would be his own.

He added: I think as a club, and I was part of that decision, we decided not to take him to Milan, and I am in constant contact with them, Hughes and Michael Edwards, the CEO of football at FSG Group. But when it comes to making decisions about the starting lineup or team roster, they always leave it to me. It doesn't mean I don't talk to them, mainly Richard and not Michael, but I talk to him about a lot of things. The decision to involve a player or include him in the lineup - as I have experienced so far and I believe this will never change - is entirely up to me."
