Khaberni - The Russian Aviation Transport Agency announced today, Thursday, that temporary restrictions have been imposed on flight movements at Cheboksary Airport on the Volga River and a number of international airports in central regions of the country, as part of temporary regulatory measures related to aviation safety.
The agency clarified in a press statement that the restrictions resulted from operational conditions in the airspace of those areas, confirming that efforts are ongoing to resume normal air traffic as soon as the technical and security reasons are resolved.
