Khaberni - His Majesty King Abdullah II, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, met on Wednesday with military retirees who served with His Majesty in the Special Forces.
During the meeting held at the Royal Command of the King Abdullah II Special Forces, His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the military retirees and veterans, emphasizing his ongoing commitment to staying in touch with them.
His Majesty affirmed that his fellow servicemen will remain symbols of dedication, praising the progress of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, which is the result of the cumulative achievements of its members, both active and retired.
For their part, the attendees expressed their pride in having served with His Majesty, appreciating his continuous efforts to advance Jordan in various fields despite the challenges.
His Majesty and the attendees reminisced about several memories and situations during their service in the Special Forces.
His Majesty shared a lunch banquet with his fellow servicemen, in the presence of the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yousef Al-Essawi, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, and several senior officers.
