Khaberni - The World Cup 2026 draw ceremony had barely ended when the global press, specifically the Argentine press, started analyzing the titleholder's opponents in Group Ten. Amid this flurry, Jordanian star Musa Al-Taamari stole the spotlight, topping the headlines in the land of silver as the "most dangerous weapon" for the new World Cup entrant, promising an exciting duel between "the original Messi" and "the Jordan Messi."

In a special and extensive report, the Argentine newspaper "Los Andes" shone a light on the Rennes club star, describing him as "the upcoming World Cup surprise". The newspaper pointed out that Coach Scaloni's squad will have a face-off with a Jordanian version of their legend, referring to Al-Taamari's high individual skills, which have made him a symbol of Jordanian ambition in this first historic participation.

For his part, Al-Taamari dealt with the draw results with high professionalism and leadership spirit; the "Nashama" star quickly issued a moving message to the fans through his social media accounts. He posted a photo including the teams in the group (Argentina, Austria, Algeria, and Jordan), accompanied by a brief comment filled with meaning: "A lot of excitement, God willing! We need to work hard." These words reflected the 28-year-old's awareness of the responsibility placed on him to represent Jordanian football at the greatest global stage.

Al-Taamari, who began his professional journey at APOEL in Cyprus and has since shone in "Ligue 1" with Rennes, is now one of the most prominent Asian names. Despite his personal reservation about the nickname "the Jordan Messi" and his preference for his real name, his figures speak for themselves; this season he has contributed to three goals (both scoring and creating) in 15 games with his club, in addition to a rich international record of 21 goals in nearly 70 international matches.

Attention is now turned towards the upcoming historic date, June 27th, 2026, when the "AT&T Stadium" in Dallas will host the historic match between Jordan and Argentina. Regarding this match, Coach Lionel Scaloni realistically remarked, "There are no easy opponents.. we must play every match seriously," confirming that "the Tango" highly regards the ambition of "the Nashama" and their leading star.
