Khaberni - The Traffic Department said that its field patrols recorded seven violations for drifting and reckless, exhibitionist driving in the past 24 hours, and the vehicles were impounded, with legal and administrative measures taken against the violators.
The Traffic Department also noted that it received 30 reports about drifting and reckless driving incidents, all of which are currently under investigation for legal action against the perpetrators.
It indicated that the security and traffic campaign against this phenomenon is ongoing and will not stop until it is eliminated, safeguarding the community from these reckless behaviors that endanger the lives of others.
The Traffic Department encourages reporting any sightings or individuals committing this violation to the Traffic Department's report number (0770999030), where they will be handled confidentially and necessary actions will be taken.
The Traffic Department also called on parents to supervise their children when handing over vehicles to them, educating them about the dangers of drifting and driving recklessly, neglectfully, and its effects on the driver and the social consequences for their families.
