Media reports confirmed the escalating crisis inside Liverpool FC following the surprising statements made by Mohamed Salah after the Leeds match, where he stated the club "threw him under the bus" and that his relationship with the coach Arne Slot "does not exist".

The Daily Mail and other British media mentioned that these statements caused widespread anger within the administration, with decision-making circles in the club insisting that the player must publicly apologize for what he said, while his participation in the Champions League remains undecided.

It was clarified: "Liverpool faces a complex situation on Monday, as the administration has not yet decided whether Mohamed Salah will travel with the team to Italy to face Inter Milan at San Siro Stadium, or if he will be excluded as a form of punishment amidst the escalating tension since the player's statements, in which he expressed feeling unappreciated and that there are those who want him gone."

It was added: "Salah was seen at the club’s training facility in the AXA complex, while the team prepares for their training session scheduled before traveling to Italy. However, uncertainty still dominates his position from facing Inter, and his potential participation in the Brighton match which he hinted could be his last in a Liverpool shirt."

And continued: "The club’s management realizes that the current crisis is unprecedented, especially as it comes at a sensitive time after the team’s dropping performance in the league and Champions League, which makes the decisions of the next few hours crucial in the future of the relationship between Liverpool and Mohamed Salah."
