Italian Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Brazil, described the Moroccan team as a "strong and organized opponent" after they were drawn together in the 2026 World Cup draw.

The 2026 World Cup draw, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico with 48 participating teams, conducted in Washington on Friday, placed Brazil in Group Four alongside Morocco, Scotland, and Haiti.

Ancelotti said after the draw, "Morocco had a fantastic World Cup in 2022 and they are a very strong and organized team".

He also added, "We respect Scotland as well, as all of these teams deserve to qualify for the World Cup".

Regarding the Haitian team, Ancelotti admitted that he does not know much about them but emphasized the need to face them "with respect".

He added that he has no concerns about the venues that will host Brazil's matches in the group stage.

He said that "the weather will not be an obstacle".
