Khaberni - Bournemouth and their guest Chelsea were content with a goalless draw in the Premier League today, Saturday, following a fast-paced match at the Vitality Stadium where both teams lacked the quality required within the penalty area.
This draw kept Chelsea in fourth position in the standings with 25 points from 15 matches, and Bournemouth's disappointing streak continued as they only achieved two points from the last available 18 points, placing them in the 13th position with 20 points.
The home side was the better team in the first half, but they could not capitalize on their control of the ball, and the referee canceled a goal scored by Antoine Semenyo due to offside. Evanelson missed an easy opportunity from close range in front of the goal.
Chelsea's performance improved after the break, and Alejandro Garnacho hit the post, but he failed to convert other opportunities that came his way, resulting in a goalless draw for the first time since their match against visitors Crystal Palace in August.
