The spokesperson for the Greater Amman Municipality, Dr. Nasser Rahamneh, announced the execution of a plan to deal with the unstable weather condition, through three shifts among the municipal staff in the field.
Rahamneh told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra), that the number of staff ready for fieldwork reached 4600 employees, distributed among engineers, supervisors, drivers, and workers.
He added that the number of workshops involved in various repair operations is about 200, also spread across three shifts, while about 100 specialized vehicles participate in the workshop activities, in addition to other working vehicles.
This morning, Saturday, the Greater Amman Municipality announced that its emergency teams are deployed across all regions of the capital, prepared to deal with any special cases or conditions during the unstable weather condition affecting the kingdom, after the municipality declared a state of emergency (extreme/water) to cope with the prevailing weather conditions.
