Khaberni - The Financial Committee continues its discussions on the General Budget Law project for the fiscal year 2026 on Saturday.
The committee will discuss the budget of the Ministry of Local Administration, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, and its affiliated companies, in addition to the Petra Region Tourism Development Authority.
The Financial Committee will also discuss the General Budget Law project with the governmental economic team.
Nimer Al-Suleihat, the chairman of the Financial Committee, earlier stated that discussions on the General Budget Law project for the year 2026 with ministries, institutions, and governmental units will continue on Sunday, December 7th.
He added that the committee will present its recommendations on the budget under the dome on Monday, December 8th, to open the door for parliamentary debate.
Al-Suleihat expected the deputies to finish their discussions on the budget and vote on it by Thursday, December 11th.
