Khaberni - On Friday, the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) presented the first edition of the FIFA Peace Award during the 2026 World Cup draw ceremony, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
This award, which the U.S. President affirmed “is well deserved” before receiving it, rewards the "enormous efforts made by individuals who unite people and provide hope for future generations," according to the federation.
During the award, Trump considered receiving the FIFA Peace Award as "one of the greatest honors" in his life.
