Khaberni - The Ministry of Social Development issued its achievement report for last November, monitoring the main services it provided.

The ministry stated in a press release issued by the Directorate of Communication and Media that it received (8117) studies for issuing health insurance cards, and (145) transactions for exempting from treatment expenses, while it conducted (125) transactions for the purpose of service of settling heirs' rights and (1867) transactions related to the exemption from work permits.

According to the report, (27) children were enrolled in child care homes, with 37 children exiting, while the number of children handed over to alternative families was (6) children, and (5) new nurseries were licensed.

The report indicated that the number of women and children benefiting from the services of the social service offices - Family and Juvenile Protection Management was (217) cases, while the number of juveniles benefiting from the services of the Juvenile Education and Rehabilitation homes affiliated with the ministry was (268) juveniles, (96) of whom benefited from vocational rehabilitation programs. As for the number of working children who received psychological and social services and interventions according to the case management methodology, it was (53) children.

Regarding the general register of associations, the cumulative number of registered and existing associations under the enforceable Associations Law was (6031) associations, with (19) new associations registered, while the number of requests for modifying the articles of association was (201) associations, and the number of associations that were dissolved was (28) associations, the number of interim bodies that concluded their work was (4), the number of existing interim bodies was (14), the number of dissolution committees that concluded their work was (6), and the number of associations that were issued a warning was (19) associations.

Regarding the activities of the Anti-Begging Directorate, the report revealed that (662) anti-begging campaigns were conducted, during which (560) beggars were caught.

According to the report data for the activities of the National Aid Fund, the total number of families benefiting from the monthly financial aids program was (48837) families, and the number of families benefiting from the training program was (130) families, while the response rate to the calls received by the fund was (100%).
