Arsenal Football Club announced reaching a final agreement to sign the Ecuadorian twins Edwin and Holger Quintero from Independiente del Valle.
The agreement provides for the joining of the young players, aged 16 years, to the ranks of "The Gunners" in August 2027 upon reaching legal age.
This signing is part of strengthening the team with South American talent, as the twins follow in the footsteps of Arsenal's current star, their compatriot Piero Hincapie, who graduated from the same academy.
The Quintero twins are considered among the most promising talents, with Edwin well-known for his skills as a cunning right winger, while Holger excels as a technically gifted playmaker.
The club confirmed that the development and training of the twins will be closely coordinated with Independiente del Valle until the official date of their joining.
