Khaberni - Manchester United has reinforced its position in the race for qualification to the UEFA Champions League, after defeating visitor Brentford 2-1 on Monday evening, during the 34th round of the English Premier League.
Manchester United took the lead in the 11th minute through Casemiro, before his teammate Benjamin Sesko added the second goal in the 43rd minute.
In the 87th minute, Mathias Jansen scored the sole goal for Brentford.
Manchester United raised their points total to 61, securing third place, three points ahead of Liverpool in fourth place, and also three points away from Aston Villa in fifth, the last qualifying position for the Champions League in the coming season.
On the other hand, Brentford's total points remain at 48, placing them ninth.
