Hebrew reports warn that the region will witness, with the beginning of next week, a strong winter system that will bring with it heavy rainfall, strong winds, and a noticeable drop in temperature, amid fears of floods and torrents forming in several areas.

Khaberni - According to Khaberni, temperatures are expected to gradually increase until Friday, reaching above the annual average, with weather tending to Khamsini conditions.

Sudden change in weather starting Saturday

On Saturday morning, local rains will begin to fall in southern Occupied Palestine, before later extending to the central areas. Estimates indicate that these rains may cause flooding, especially in the eastern areas, the Jordan Valley, and the Dead Sea area.

The Israeli Meteorological Service – as relayed by Khaberni – warned of the risk of floods forming in several locations, urging the avoidance of unnecessary travel during the influence of the low pressure system.

As the strength of the weather system escalates, the rains will gradually extend to various parts of Occupied Palestine, accompanied by strong winds, thunderstorms, and possibly hail showers in some areas. A significant drop in temperature is also expected, which enhances the large difference compared to previous days.

Israeli meteorological experts confirm that the anticipated low pressure is considered one of the strongest and most complex winter lows experienced in the region this year.

According to Channel Seven, the meteorological services, the occupation police, and emergency teams have called on residents to prepare for the low pressure, avoid traveling in flood-prone areas, move vehicles away from low or flood-prone places, check the readiness of drainage networks, and follow updates issued by official entities.
