Khaberni - The Social Security Corporation announced the continuation of the immediate treatment service for work injuries launched in 2019, confirming that it is one of the most important insurance services aimed at protecting the workforce and ensuring that injured workers receive healthcare without any delay.

The corporation clarified in a statement that this service allows the insured, who suffer injuries during or due to work, to directly go to the contracted hospitals, totaling (45) medical entities, to receive immediate treatment. It has approved the Royal Medical Services, the Ministry of Health, and the private sector listed on its website (www.ssc.gov.jo) in the electronic library section, ensuring the provision of high-quality and efficient medical service.

It confirmed that the immediate treatment service covers all work injury cases until complete recovery and without any cap on treatment costs, neither charged to the injured nor the employer, emphasizing that applying for the immediate treatment service is exclusively done through the liaison officer in the facility from the moment the injury occurs and within a maximum of three days after it, helping accelerate the response and effectively organize the treatment process.

The institution mentioned that since its launch, the immediate treatment service has contributed to streamlining the treatment procedures for the injured, reducing financial and administrative burdens on facilities, helping prevent the exacerbation of injuries and reducing their health and professional impacts, and enhancing the confidence of employers and workers in the institution’s ability to provide effective and rapid protection when injuries occur at work.

It also confirmed the continuation of developing work injury insurance services and enhancing partnerships with the medical sector to provide immediate and safe healthcare for the insured.
