Khaberni - Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, represented by the Department of French and English, participated in the training organized by the Francophone Agency for Universities with participation from a number of Jordanian universities, as part of the preparations for the annual "Orient Choice – Le Choix de l'Orient" competition in Beirut.
The university's participation was supervised by Dr. Jaber Abu Asal, where eight students from the department underwent a series of specialized training sessions targeting the development of reading, analysis, writing, and summarization skills, considering them as some of the most prominent annual activities that enhance students' linguistic and literary capabilities.
Dr. Sundus Furman, the head of the French Department, expressed her pride in her students who offered a noticeable presence and exemplary and active participation during the discussions held to select this year’s novel, affirming the importance of supporting the students and honing their skills for competition in academic and cultural forums.
