Khaberni - The Minister of Energy, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, confirmed that the fees for restoring electricity after it has been cut off from subscribers are not fees.

In response to a parliamentary question under the dome of parliament today, Monday, the minister added that the purpose of these fees is to motivate the citizen to pay the bills and prevent their accumulation.

Al-Kharabsheh explained that the fees for restoring power are 3 dinars after the first cutoff. In the first instance, restoration of the current is exempt from fees, but if it is cut off again, then the fees will be 3 dinars each time the current is cut off.

He affirmed that the fees for restoring electricity will not increase regardless of the number of times the electricity is cut off.
