Khaberni - The national under-17 football team defeated its Filipino counterpart with a score of 6-1, in the match that took place today, Sunday, at Aqaba Development Stadium, concluding group five competitions in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 Asian Cup.
Osama Al-Johari and Faisal Abu Deheim from two penalties, and Mamdouh Abu Saad and Suleiman Alian scored the goals of the match, while Aran Long scored the sole goal for the Philippines.
Despite the win, the national youth team failed to qualify after losing to Australia and drawing against Iraq in the same group.
