Jordan Fuel Prices Increased for December

The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting today, Sunday, to set the selling prices of oil derivatives locally for the period from December 1 to 31.

The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and oil derivatives during the current month of November and compared them with those of the previous month, October. The global average price rates showed a slight increase in the prices of both types of gasoline (90 and 95), in addition to a price increase in diesel.

After applying the pricing formula based on the global prices to all oil derivatives, the committee found an increase in the prices of both types of gasoline (90 and 95) by (5) piasters/liter each, and an increase in the price of diesel by (20) piasters/liter.

Accordingly, the Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee decided to adjust the selling price of 90 octane gasoline to become (850) piasters/liter instead of (845) piasters/liter, and the selling price of 95 octane gasoline to become (1080) piasters/liter instead of (1075) piasters/liter, and to adjust the selling price of diesel to become (705) piasters/liter instead of (685) piasters/liter, while continuing to fix the selling price of kerosene at (620) piasters/liter, and maintaining the selling price of a home gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at (7) dinars/cylinder.
