Khaberni - The criminal investigation personnel arrested a young man accused of defrauding 3 girls in one of the commercial complexes in Amman, after he stole from them an amount of 120 dinars.
According to what the journalist Ghazi Marayat reported in Al-Rai newspaper, the girls went to one of the commercial complexes, where the young man offered them "coupons" for prize draws from various commercial brands, for a price of 40 dinars per "coupon". They purchased 3 "coupons" for a total amount of 120 dinars, before they later discovered there were no real drawings, and that they had fallen victim to a scam, which led them to file an official complaint.
The source added that, after showing the photos of the suspects to the girls, they recognized the young man, who turned out to have prior history in fraud cases.
The security source mentioned that he was arrested and taken in for questioning, where he admitted to committing the crime.
