Khaberni - Talking about human rights values is of great importance for humanity, giving everyone the chance to showcase what they have, not only at the level of declaration but also in practice.
Human rights issues have become global; no longer confined to a specific field or a limited demographic, geographical boundaries no longer pose barriers. It's one of the issues that generate significant debate and discussion and receives attention from the international community. The focus on human rights stems from the fact that they are among the most precious values that need safeguarding and protection, representing the fruit of humanity's struggle over the years of its history and the true foundation of civilized societies.
Here arises the need for genuine dialogue about human rights due to their exposure to aggression and degradation. Every day, the world wakes up to horrific human rights violations in different parts of the world.
It can be said that humanity has made efforts to uplift human rights, and although this statement is valid in its theoretical framework, the universal human values shared among all people need more dialogue and activation, especially regarding human dignity and its role in creating life and developing the universe. Respecting humans forms a basis of correct human behavior, which requires the international community to pay significant attention to this behavior.
The major responsibility falls on the shoulders of educational institutions worldwide to instill human rights values by announcing their rejection of all forms of slavery, oppression, and domination, and by declaring war on all ethnic and bigoted concepts and values that dominate global mentality. For this purpose, they can include in their curricula and educational policies a global agreement that highlights the importance of human rights values in contemporary and future human life.
This requires setting basic requirements to preserve human rights and fundamental freedoms within a group of courses and curricula.
