The young man met his demise by drowning after he succeeded in rescuing 13 girls from certain death when their bus overturned in "Balouza Drain" in Qantara East, Ismailia.
After the fall of the bus, local people rushed to rescue the passengers, and the scene was dominated by Hassan Ahmed Hassan (35 years old), an agricultural worker who plunged into the water despite not being able to swim. He smashed the bus's window and began pulling out the girls one by one.
After managing to save them all following a heroic effort, he met his fate as his strength failed him and he fell in exhaustion into the water and died by drowning.

The young man's act received widespread interaction and praise from locals and social media users and was described as the "Martyr of Nobility". His body was transferred to the East Qantara Hospital at the disposal of the public prosecutor, who commenced investigations to clarify the circumstances of the death.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity decided to grant 100,000 Egyptian pounds as compensation to the family of the deceased young man and included his family in the "Takaful and Karama" program, which is a cash support program offered by the Egyptian government, in addition to covering the educational expenses for his three daughters through their educational stages, as stated by Mohamed El-Akaby, assistant to the Minister of Social Solidarity.
