Khaberni - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Friday the resignation of his office director Andriy Yermak after investigators searched the influential official's home as part of an investigation into a high-profile corruption case.
Zelensky said in a recorded speech, "The Office of the President of Ukraine will be reorganized, and office director Andriy Yermak has tendered his resignation," adding that he will hold consultations with a potential replacement on "Saturday".
The unprecedented inspections within the corridors of the Ukrainian government come at a time when Kyiv is facing intense American pressure to sign a peace agreement, nearly four years into the war.
