Khaberni - The Jordan Football Association launched the Jordanian Football Strategy with a future vision until 2029, which is based on four main pillars: technical advancement, empowerment and growth, infrastructure, and social engagement.
The inauguration of the Jordanian Football Strategy was conducted through a video presentation summarizing the strategy on the sidelines of the Diamond Jubilee celebration of establishing the Jordan Football Association, held under the auspices of His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein, with the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah, the Crown Prince, and Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein, President of the Association, along with Gianni Infantino, President of the FIFA.
His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein emphasized that the implementation of the Jordanian Football Strategy serves all components of the football ecosystem, ensuring comprehensive and sustainable development. He affirmed the need for attention in its implementation due to the national value of football and its broad public popularity, as well as being an influential system in the lives of a large segment of those working in and practicing football across various segments of society.
He added: We are grateful in the Association to the government that has opened the door and shared with us the visions towards a sustainable future for Jordanian football, which enjoys the attention and support of His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein and His Royal Highness Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah, the Crown Prince.
The General Secretary of the Association, Samar Nassar, stated that developing the Jordanian Football Strategy followed an extensive study of the current status through a framework that looks at the reality and deals with challenges facing the system with a clear methodology, revealing areas of future opportunities to exploit them to the greatest extent possible.
She pointed out that the work within the four strategic pillars included identifying 32 goals, which will be implemented through more than 160 executive initiatives.
She continued that among the most prominent goals we aim to achieve are developing a high-performance environment for the teams, continuing commercial growth, developing both institutional and individual capabilities within the system, qualifying football infrastructure within available capabilities, in addition to activating the role of Jordanian football in community development.
The strategic summary presented by the General Secretary of the Association included multiple initiatives, including preparing a national plan for the infrastructure of the kingdom's stadiums, building a unified coaching philosophy matching the national talents, and implementing the video assistant referee technology in the Jordanian Professional League, as well as focusing on youth and encouraging the relaunching of the Prince Ali centers for young talents.
Within the social engagement pillar, initiatives such as establishing a national football museum and an electronic archiving system were prominent to consolidate the history of Jordanian football in the memory of society.
