Khaberni - The Public Institution for Food and Drug has issued a clarification regarding the circulating news about the institution's plan to launch an application to purchase medications at a preferential price from pharmacies.
The institution explained that, out of its commitment to ensure the availability of treatment for patients fairly, and as a further development to adopt the instructions of the Patient Access program for the year 2020 published on the official website of the institution, the institution aims to expand the coverage of the Patient Access program to include the largest number of medicines, including those for chronic diseases and cancer medications.
The institution added that next year, a program will be launched to guarantee the optimal implementation of the Patient Access program and its benefits.
