The Jordanian National Union Party closely monitored, with high national awareness, the qualitative security operation conducted yesterday in the city of Ramtha, which resulted in the arrest of a cell embracing extremist Takfiri ideology.
We in the National Union Party firmly support the sterling efforts of our security forces who dealt with this stray group with professionalism, wisdom, and capability, and we appreciate their constant vigilance in protecting the security of the homeland and its citizens, and preventing any disaster or criminal act that could have targeted social peace.
The Jordanian National Union Party affirms that supporting our security agencies in their battle against extremism and terrorism is a national duty without compromise, and we, in the party, stand united with the state and its agencies to protect Jordan from all those who harbor Takfiri dark thoughts.
