Khaberni - The area of Abu Zighan witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday morning, which resulted in severe floods that led to the sweeping away of a car and a bus, causing material damages without recording any notable injuries.
Immediately after the incident occurred, Dr. Firas Abu Qa’oud, the Governor of Zarqa, arrived at the site to oversee the incident on the ground and ensure the safety of the citizens. Also present at the location was the Director of Zarqa Police, Brigadier Yazan Al-Jarrah, accompanied by security forces, who worked on organizing traffic and securing the area and supporting the Civil Defense teams.
The municipal and civil defense teams continue to work on clearing the affected roads and restoring normalcy, while assessments of the damage are carried out and necessary measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
