Khaberni - The population of Kuwait increased by 181,000 people, or 3.6%, in the first nine months of 2025, as published by the Central Bank of Kuwait last Monday.

By the end of September, the population reached 5.169 million, compared to 4.988 million at the end of December 2024, marking the highest growth rate since 2021.

The statistics revealed that the population of Kuwait increased by about 4.44% year-on-year at the end of the third quarter of 2025, up by 223,000 compared to 4.946 million at the end of September 2024.

The population recorded an increase of 1.37% compared to its level at the end of the second quarter of 2025, which was 5.099 million, an increase of about 70,000.

According to the statistics, the population growth in Kuwait "has been stable since 2021, registering 2.3% in 2022, then 2.59% in 2023, and 2.6% at the end of 2024."
