Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate stated that a special security force conducted a raid on Tuesday evening at a location in Al-Ramtha District, which was sheltering two brothers wanted for their involvement in extremist ideologies following significant investigatory cases.
The Directorate mentioned in its statement that as soon as the security force arrived at the location, the wanted individuals opened fire on them intensively, resulting in the injury of three of the raiding force members who were then transported to the hospital for treatment.
It was confirmed that engagement rules were executed and the outlaws were killed, who had fortified themselves at the location and had used their mother inside as a human shield to prevent targeting. The security force was able to neutralize their mother and remove her without causing any harm.
The Public Security Directorate added that the site where the wanted individuals were fortified was searched, leading to the seizure of a collection of firearms and ammunition.
