Khaberni - The Portuguese team advanced to the final of the U-17 World Cup after overcoming their counterpart, the Brazilian team, on penalties (6-5) in the semi-final stage of the tournament currently hosted by Qatar and concluding on November 27.
The original time of the match ended in a goalless draw, so both teams resorted to penalty shootouts, which ultimately smiled on the Portuguese team, setting them up for a final match against the Austrian team.
Austria had defeated Italy (2-0) in the other semi-final.
