Khaberni - Deputy Engineer Adnan Mashouqeh directed a parliamentary question to the Prime Minister, regarding the regulations for organizing tourist events and musical parties in residential areas.

Mashouqeh demanded the government, especially the Ministry of Tourism and the capital's governorate, to clarify the measures taken to ensure that these events are not held in residential neighborhoods, in order to preserve the peace and tranquility of the citizens.

The deputy asked about how the regulatory bodies follow up on the official complaints submitted by residents about noise and night disturbances, and whether there is a clear mechanism to ensure that these complaints are received and handled effectively.

He also inquired about the existence of a government plan to oblige tourist establishments to use sound insulation and global noise standards, and to clarify the penalties for offenders who repeat the disturbances to residents after the intervention of security forces.
