Khaberni - In a crime that shook Turkey, the teenager Mohammed Kenderji, aged 15, died in a hospital in the city of Sanliurfa after suffering severe injuries as a result of a horrific assault in a carpentry workshop in Bozova district.

According to reports, Mohammed, who was working as an apprentice, experienced a violent intervention by his workshop supervisor, who beat him and then injected him with air using a pressure pump on the anal area, resulting in internal tearing of his vital organs and severe injuries, without revealing the real motive behind this act.

The child was immediately transferred to a hospital on November 14 (November), before being moved to a university hospital and then to the intensive care unit at Haran University Hospital, where doctors continued attempts to save his life for five days before his death was announced.

The Turkish authorities immediately launched an investigation into the incident, and the main assailant was detained, initially released on bail and then re-arrested and brought to court where he was held in pre-trial detention after the prosecution objected to the release.

The investigations continue to uncover any possible involvement of another person in this violent act.

Social media users shared poignant footage from the funeral of the deceased child, showing a large attendance of locals and sympathizers who carried his coffin while raising their voices in prayer. Some expressed their anger and deep sorrow towards the tragic incident that claimed the boy's life, stirring widespread debate and leading to a wave of comments calling for an urgent investigation and full accountability of those involved.

The horrific incident caused widespread shock in the region due to its gruesomeness, reminiscent of a similar event in 2019 in the city of Silendi, where another teenager suffered severe injury from an air pump during a joke with his friends, which led to the destruction of some of his internal organs, while those responsible for the incident were not punished decisively.
