Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the entry of the Israeli Prime Minister and several extremist Israeli government officials and ministers into the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic; a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, a flagrant breach of international law, and a dangerous escalation that will only contribute to further conflict and tension in the region.
The official spokesperson of the ministry, Fouad Al-Majali, confirmed the kingdom's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of this serious violation, which represents an infringement on the sovereignty of an Arab state, and a dangerously provocative escalation that is unacceptable. He emphasized the necessity to stop all Israeli actions targeting the security and stability of Syria, which constitute a violation of the United Nations Charter and Israel's obligations under the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Al-Majali renewed the affirmation of the kingdom's full support and solidarity with Syria and its security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and citizens, calling on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, and to compel Israel to stop its illegitimate provocative attacks on Syria, end its occupation of parts of its territories, and also to compel it to respect the rules of international law and the decisions of international legitimacy.
