Khaberni - Recently, Arab Bank renewed its cooperation agreement with SOS Children's Villages Jordan, through which the bank sponsors a family home for children in the SOS Children's Village Amman, as part of the bank's firm commitment to supporting the sustainability of alternative family care for children and youth without family support.
The renewal of the agreement for the tenth consecutive year reaffirms the importance of supporting family homes in the villages, as they are the fundamental pillar of the integrated care model adopted by the association, which provides the children with a warm and safe family environment that replicates familiar family life. The bank's contribution covers part of the basic operational expenses of the home, ensuring the continuity of services provided to the children and providing them with a decent and stable life.
In her comment on this initiative, the National Director of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, Rana Al-Zoubi, said: "This cooperation reflects the importance of continuing support directed towards children and youth without family care and investing in their future, and it embodies the spirit of community responsibility that contributes to achieving sustainable social development that benefits the entire community." She expressed the association's profound gratitude to Arab Bank for its continuous support and efforts to promote this humanitarian message.
SOS Children's Villages Jordan has been caring for children and youth who have lost parental care for over forty years, through its villages in Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba, in addition to its community programs aimed at empowering families at risk of disintegration and supporting youth towards independence.
It is worth mentioning here that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in sustainability and community responsibility that reflects the bank's commitment to enhancing its economic, social, and environmental impact through close collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve sustainable development.
