Khaberni - Media reports reveal that Galatasaray is attempting to make a sensational deal during the upcoming winter transfer window.

The Spanish newspaper As mentioned that the management of the Turkish club hopes to capitalize on the current situation of the Brazilian star Rodrigo Goes at Real Madrid, after his reliance has noticeably decreased under the management of coach Xabi Alonso, as the player no longer gets enough minutes this season.

It pointed out that, according to sources close to the Turkish club, Galatasaray is considering moving to bring the player on loan with an obligatory purchase option at the end of the season, in an attempt to strengthen the team's offensive power before the critical stages of the competitions.

It explained: "Galatasaray's management sees Rodrigo as a quality addition due to his high technical abilities, speed, and smooth transition between attacking positions, which suits the team's style of play that relies on offensive ferocity and diversity of options in the final third of the field. The player also has considerable experience in the Champions League, which is a fundamental element that Turkish clubs seek to invest in to raise the level of European competition."

It added: "The Turkish ambition faces a significant financial obstacle represented in the player's salary, which is among the highest within the ranks of Real Madrid. The data indicates that Galatasaray is asking the Spanish club to bear part of Rodrigo's salary during the first months of the loan, to facilitate the deal and prevent inflation of the wage bill in the team."

It further increased: "This condition currently constitutes the most sensitive negotiation point between the two parties, as Real Madrid is keen not to open the door to bearing salaries for loaned players except under precise conditions."

The atmosphere surrounding the deal indicates a mutual desire, as Galatasaray sees in Rodrigo a star project capable of raising the team's stakes both locally and continentally, while the player aspires to regain regular playing minutes to restore his form and confidence before entering upcoming international commitments. Meanwhile, Real Madrid is carefully considering the options between maintaining the player's market value or allowing him to leave to benefit from the technical development he might gain outside the club.
