Khaberni - Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho revealed unexpected details of his short arrest journey he spent in a Paraguayan prison years ago, confirming that the experience turned from fear to a football celebration inside his cell.
During a discussion about his experience in prison, according to The Footy Section, Ronaldinho initially admitted feeling scared of the unknown: "I thought they would beat me up and do to me all the horrible things that usually happen in prisons."
He added: "The prison turned into a small-sided football pitch, instead of the expected violence scenarios, they called the guards to organize football matches, and they asked me to perform some entertaining moves and skills for their enjoyment".
Ronaldinho explained that the following day of his arrest witnessed a unique event: "The next morning after my arrest, we were taken out to play a five-a-side football match. The guards and some prison officials came to watch the game and the cameras were rolling; it was a great day for everyone."
The Brazilian star concluded his speech with a surprising statement summarizing his experience: "I can say that my time there was good."
