Khaberni - President Donald Trump scolded an ABC News correspondent for her question about his family's investments in Saudi Arabia and her direction of a question about the victims of the September 11 attack to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Trump sharply criticized ABC News reporter Mary Bruce during a joint press conference in the Oval Office at the White House, when she asked him whether it was "appropriate" for the president's family to be doing business in Saudi Arabia while he was in office, before she directed her question to the Saudi Crown Prince about the victims of September 11, 2001, and the Jamal Khashoggi case.
After learning she was from "ABC News," Trump said: "Fake news and one of the worst networks in the field," adding that "you shouldn't embarrass our guest like this, he knows nothing about what you're talking about."
Trump also commented on her question about his family's investments in Saudi Arabia, pointing out that they "did little in Saudi Arabia," adding that the matter of his family's investments is not his concern as he is now working to bring money to his country, according to him.
Earlier, the American president lost his temper with a reporter during a tense interview about his relationship with billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, and described her as "disgusting" in an incident that preceded him backing down on his stance regarding the release of case files.
