Khaberni - New leaks have revealed information about the battery capacity of the foldable iPhone, which Apple is currently developing, and which is said to compete with the Galaxy Z Fold model from Samsung.
The Korean leaks suggest that Apple is testing a battery with a capacity between 5,400 and 5,800 milliampere-hours in the foldable iPhone Fold.
The leaks claim that Apple might settle for the larger capacity at the expense of a bulkier and heavier design, according to a report by "Android Authority," a specialist technology news site.
Even if Apple settles on a battery capacity of 5,400 milliampere-hours, this would be much larger than the Galaxy Z Fold 7's battery, which has a capacity of 4,400 milliampere-hours.
Samsung has not provided any battery capacity upgrades since the launch of the original Galaxy Fold in 2019. Therefore, this suggests that the iPhone Fold will have a much longer battery life than the Galaxy Fold model.
Recent Korean reports have indicated that the "Galaxy Z Fold 8" might come with a battery exceeding 5,000 milliampere-hours, but the exact capacity has not been announced.
In other words, it is possible that the foldable iPhone Fold might also have a larger battery than the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
These leaks come amid many rumors about the upcoming foldable iPhone, as it is said to come with a sleek design resembling the foldable "OPPO Find N" and "Pixel Fold" phones.
