Khaberni - The Turkish series "Roses and Sins" continues to achieve exceptional success on television screens, becoming the only work within the ABC1 category that hasn't witnessed any decline in viewership rates since its first episodes aired.
According to television reports, this achievement indicates a rare stability in popular performance compared to other series that have experienced a noticeable decline in viewership this season.
"Roses and Sins" has maintained its lead, recording high viewership rates: 6.76% in the "all individuals" category at 18.70%, 4.23% in the AB category at 12.54%, and 5.85% in the 20+ ABC1 category at 16.25%.
The series, which airs on Kanal D and is originally titled "Güller ve Günahlar," is produced by Nazli Hepturk under the supervision of NGM, directed by Deniz Can Actik, and written by Yildiz Eroglu. It offers a thrilling romantic drama story that combines love, betrayal, and revenge.
The cast of the series, which is broadcast every Saturday evening, includes Cemre Baysel and Murat Yildirim, along with a host of stars such as Ahmet Saracoglu, Gulenay Kalkan, Serdar Orjin, Kaan Çakir, Aleyna Solaker, and Gizem Sevim, in addition to children Beren Gengalp and Oya Unustasi.
The series focuses on the character Serhat, a married businessman with two daughters. His life changes after discovering his wife "Beraq's" infidelity and that she has a six-year-old daughter named "Kader" from another man, birthed and left with a family while he was previously traveling.
When he returns home to confront her, he discovers she has had an accident and fallen into a water pool, subsequently entering a prolonged coma. This is when Zeynep, a young rose seller living next door to the family raising "Kader," appears. When the child escapes from them due to abuse and mistreatment, she meets Zeynep, who helps her in finding her biological family.
Later on, the relationship between Zeynep and Serhat intertwines, after he asks her to work as a nanny for his daughters and to have "Kader" live in his house, until her real father is found.
When "Beraq" awakens from her coma, she refuses to reveal the identity of "Kader's" father and continues to engage in manipulations and tricks to keep Serhat from divorcing her, maintaining control over her daughters, and using them to pressure her husband to stay married to her.
