Khaberni - This morning, the Israeli occupation army conducted a series of airstrikes that were accompanied by demolition operations, artillery shelling, and intense gunfire, targeting several areas behind the so-called Yellow Line in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli warplanes carried out 3 consecutive raids accompanied by heavy artillery shelling and tank fire in the eastern part of Khan Yunis in the south of the sector.
They also reported that the occupation army carried out a demolition operation on a number of buildings behind the Yellow Line in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
Since the announcement of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement on October 10th, the occupation army continues the demolition and destruction of the remaining buildings behind the Yellow Line.
A harsh winter on the displaced
On the humanitarian side, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has warned of the deteriorating health and living conditions in the Gaza Strip, stating that children have become more susceptible to diseases under harsh displacement conditions.
The organization noted that thousands of families are living in tents not equipped to handle heavy rain and severe cold, while humanitarian aid prepared by UNICEF is outside the sector waiting for Israeli approvals to enter Gaza.
Displaced Palestinians live under tragic conditions, where basic life essentials are absent in the tents, while the occupation continues to prevent the entry of mobile homes and necessary supplies to equip shelters.
The suffering of the displaced is exacerbated by the effects of the weather depression that hit the sector, especially in the Al-Mawasi coastal area west of Khan Yunis, which houses the largest concentration of displaced people.
The government media office reported that about 93% of the tents housing families have been damaged by the rain, resulting in thousands of families being displaced in the open air.
In a field development, a medical source at Baptist Hospital in Gaza City reported last night, Sunday, that a Palestinian was martyred and others were injured due to Israeli shelling targeting the Shejaia area in Al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of the city.
According to eyewitnesses, the shelling targeted a group of Palestinians trying to reach their destroyed homes behind the Yellow Line, searching for winter clothes.
Martyrs of Genocide
In its daily report, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated yesterday that hospitals in the sector received 17 martyrs - including two by Israeli occupation gunfire - and 15 bodies were retrieved from the rubble, while rescue teams are still unable to reach several victims under the rubble.
The ministry mentioned that the number of martyrs since the beginning of Israel's genocide war on the Gaza Strip on October 7th, 2023, has risen to 69,483, while the number of injured has reached 170,706.
Since the beginning of the latest ceasefire on October 10th, 2025, 266 martyrs and 635 injuries have been recorded, in addition to the retrieval of 548 bodies from under the debris.
