Khaberni - Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, revealed that "Optimus" robots might revolutionize the healthcare sector with precision surpassing human capabilities.

During a meeting with investor Ron Baron, Musk clarified that the humanoid robot being developed by Tesla is capable, in the future, of performing highly advanced and extremely difficult medical procedures, perhaps exceeding the capabilities of human doctors. He noted that the biggest hurdle in healthcare is not money, but the shortage of skilled surgeons and specialists.

Elon Musk pointed out that mass production and global distribution of robots like "Optimus" could reduce the cost and scarcity of advanced medical care, mentioning that the next generation of the robot's hand will include about 50 motors, compared to 17 in the prototype, which allows for greater precision in carrying out sensitive and complex operations.

Despite Musk's optimism, he emphasized that the robot is still in the early stages, as it is currently designed for industrial and general tasks, and that current robotic surgery still requires human supervision, in addition to facing significant regulatory and legal challenges concerning independent medical robots.

Musk hopes that "Optimus" robots will contribute to enhancing the concept of "sustainable abundance," where automation can provide medical care with broad-scope precision. He pointed out that manufacturing robots instead of relying on individual surgeons can expand the scope of healthcare just as industry has expanded the scope of consumable products.

However, experts have warned that the path ahead for surgical robots is still filled with engineering, ethical, and regulatory challenges, and these robots must adhere to high standards of safety, reliability, and transparency before they actually enter operating rooms.
