Khaberni - The Eastern Military Region thwarted early Monday on its front and within its area of responsibility an attempt to smuggle a quantity of drugs loaded by balloons directed with primitive devices.
The armed forces statement mentioned that they dealt with and downed them and their load within Jordanian territory after they were detected by border guard forces in coordination with security devices and the Anti-Narcotics Department, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities for necessary actions.
