Khaberni - The English Football Association has called for a change in the qualifying systems for the World Cup and European Championships because they have become "predictable."
Mark Bullingham, the CEO of the English Football Association, stated today Saturday, "I think it's very important to review this matter."
He added, "We are part of the group we play in.. We need to look for ways to make global football better than ever before, and there is a clear intention to do this. UEFA is studying the matter, and England is one of the countries assisting in presenting options."
The "Three Lions" team qualified for the World Cup last October, and is now just a step away from achieving a perfect record in the qualifiers (7 wins from 7 matches so far).
The English team will conclude its journey on Sunday by facing Albania at the Arena Kombëtare in Tirana.
In the event of any changes to the qualifying system, they would be at least by the 2030 World Cup in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, as the English Football Association confirmed that even the next European Championships (Euro 2028) will follow the same current system.
