Khaberni - American President Donald Trump, in a television interview, accused London Mayor Sadiq Khan of failure and negligence due to rising crime rates in the "Fog City," London.

In an interview with GB News, Trump said his mother loved the British capital, but, according to the American president, London back then was different from what it is today.

Trump stated that anyone in London today could get attacked with a knife or "worse."

Trump mentioned that Khan's leadership of the British capital has been a disaster for the city.

The American president added, "He is a disgusting man who turns a blind eye to rampant crime. In London, as in Paris, there are areas that even the police do not want to approach."

Earlier, Politico reported that the British Prime Minister's residence at Downing Street in London was in a pitiable state: it was plagued with bad smells, heating problems, and rats roaming the lower floors.
In September last year, Trump criticized Europe's immigration policies generally, and Britain's specifically, in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

Trump also hinted that "London wants to shift to Islamic Sharia," referring to the increasing Muslim population there.

On the other hand, London Mayor Sadiq Khan accused President Trump of fomenting divisive far-right policies worldwide, asserting that facing these policies requires international unity.

In May 2016, Sadiq Khan (born in 1970, a British politician of Pakistani origin) won the position of Mayor of London from the Labour Party, becoming the first Muslim British to hold the office of Mayor of a major London city.
