This absence is due to some being busy with cinematic works, or not finding suitable dramatic scripts.
The artist Mohamed Ramadan will be absent from the Ramadan race for the third consecutive year, despite the success of his series "Jafar Al-Omda" in 2023.
The artist Mona Zaki is also absent for the third year, after her success in the series "Under Custody" in 2023, and she chose to present a short dramatic work outside the Ramadan marathon.
The artist Karim Abdel Aziz is absent from the Ramadan competition for the second year, after presenting the series "The Hashashins" in 2024.
